He’s certainly no stranger to technological developments and their impact on business, and he’s helped use them to restructure business operations in his time. He’s helped many companies become more efficient in using resources, and also helped change business models along the way.

Bonar is also a restaurateur, buying many restaurants that have particularly interested him and helping turn them into magnificent bistros. One of his biggest acquisitions was Bellamy’s in downtown Escondido where he hired Patrick Ponsaty, a Master Chef of France to serve as head chef. Bonar’s restaurant holdings have definitely been hot spots for tourists, but his business endeavors started way before this.

Brian Bonar is a graduate of James Watt Technical College, where he got a degree in mechanical engineering, and Strathclyde University where he got his undergrad in business.

He completed his MBA and later PhD at Staffordshire University. Bonar began his career working at several IT companies, including IBM UK Ltd, where he served for 17 years. Bonar also worked for several printer and copier development companies including Bezier Systems, QMS and Allegiant Professional Business Services.

Brian Bonar has been with the Dalrada Financial Corporation since 1995, first serving as COO, later president and CEO, and now chairman of the company board. The Dalrada Financial Corporation markets employee service packages to small and mid-sized businesses such as payroll, tax information, paid vacations and insurance, 401k plans, and other expenses that most small businesses have to shoulder. A joint company that Bonar founded is Trucept, Inc.

This company is a professional employer organization (PEO), a company that not only offers employee benefits and runs human resources for the partner company, but also recruits and serves as an employer of record.

Bonar also managed Imaging Technologies, a company that started out as simply a manufacturer of printing and copying systems, but under Bonar’s leadership became a full support and service company. Bonar has also been highly acclaimed by Cambridge University, where he was awarded the 2010 Executive of the Year in Finance award.

In addition to his many business and restaurant empire endeavors, Bonar is also a family man and spends leisure time out on the golf course, or out boating.

  1. The hiring company still maintains control of day-to-day employee duties and can still terminate the employee if they so choose. Brian Bonar has served at a lot of technology corporations, and even started a few of his own. It could also have been a thing that superior paper is looking forward to understanding the real deal.
